Welcome to The League of Club Chefs, an esteemed community comprising of head chefs from Private Members Clubs, Livery Halls, and Inns. Founded in 1988 by a group of five talented chefs and officially established in 1990, our primary goal was to establish a support network for fellow chefs within private members clubs. Over time, our membership has expanded to include Livery Halls and Inns, all of which form an integral part of our vibrant industry.
Originally, our sector was relatively unknown, but we embarked on a mission to change that. Our dedicated chefs worked tirelessly to raise the profile of these exceptional establishments while preserving the unique character and essence of each individual organisation.
Our network offers a wealth of opportunities for aspiring chefs to enhance their skills and knowledge. Through a variety of activities organised by the League and our trusted suppliers, aspiring chefs can learn, grow, and gain invaluable experience.
Today, our core values revolve around the education, guidance and passion required to train the next generation of exceptional chefs. We believe in leading by example and fostering a supportive community where culinary talent can thrive.
“Over the years The League of Club Chefs has established itself as a force for good, playing an important role in the education and support of young cooks. The League provides its members with the opportunity to share professional interests and create a true fellowship. Without the support of its member establishments, however, we would find it difficult to survive, a fact that we do recognise.”
