Simon Fooks
I began my career at Thanet Technical College and after two years entered the Kitchen at Claridge’s. I further studied at Westminster Kingsway College on two separate occasions and also the Ecole hoteliers de Lausanne. Additional work placements were in the Loire at the Auberge de Templiers the Au Crocodile in Strasbourg the Connaught and Gavroche in London.
I worked for 30 plus years at the Merchant Taylor’s Company as the Head Chef and Managing Director, during this time I became a Freeman of the City of London a Liverman of the Merchant Taylor’s Company and a Court Assistant of the Worshipful Company of Cooks.
